Countdown to Vision 2025: A God-Sized Dream Becoming Reality

What’s your favorite story? The best stories invite us to think more deeply about hope, struggle and triumph — and the greatest story ever told, the one shared through the Bible, is still unfolding. In 1999, Wycliffe and our partners set out on a bold mission: to see a Bible translation in progress for every language by the end of 2025.


Now, as we reach the final stretch, the number of languages still waiting for translation efforts to start has dropped to just over 550 languages! We are counting down to the day when all people have all Scripture.


This Vision 2025 update celebrates how far God has brought us — and reminds us that while 2025 is nearing its end, Bible translation is not. In fact, it’s just the beginning. Join us in celebrating the progress as we continue to help carry this mission forward so that all people can encounter Jesus personally through Scripture!
