Doing Missions Together

“In case God doesn’t come through, I’ll have a backup plan.”

From a young age, Devin wanted to serve God. He became passionate about ministry and specifically missions, though he didn’t know exactly what it would look like. But in spite of Devin’s passion for the work, he feared that God wouldn’t provide and settled for the “backup plan” — a career trajectory he deemed safer.

As a child, Charity was in awe of missionaries. She never lost that passion and awe — as she grew up, God also grew her understanding of missions and heart for people around the world.

And when God brought Devin and Charity together, he ignited their faith and desire to serve him. Now they’re doing missions together through Wycliffe.

Wycliffe’s mission is to see a Bible translation program in progress in every language still needing one by 2025.
